A manhole that is not structurally sound can allow debris from its side walls to fall into the system, eventually leading to a blockage and possible backup. Also leaky manholes can allow a considerable amount of groundwater to enter the system which ends up overburdening the Treatment Facility.

PIPELINE GROUTING
Pipeline grouting is a process designed to prevent infiltration and leakage in sewer systems and other types of pipeline infrastructure. Leaks frequently develop through manholes, service connections and service laterals, which leads to excessive ground or rain water entering the sewage system. This can also cause sewage to seep into the environment if left unchecked. Pipeline grouting is a trenchless method of repair that seals leaks quickly and completely. American Underground Services can isolate and pressure test any type of pipe connection. If the pressure test fails we can inject a chemical grout into the joint to create a waterproof collar that completely encases the leaky joint and stabilizes the soil around it. etc...
